I always had a vague idea that I would like the rapper Lupe Fiasco, based on his single “Kick, Push” from a few years back and one or two other songs I’ve heard. I finally got around to getting his three albums over the weekend prompted by a new single that I heard on the radio, “The Show Goes On.” His music is mostly hopeful, sometimes political, and often dealing with struggling through life.
